STANCHESTER QUIRE (To stop/start the video just double click on the picture)

We sing with the Stanchester Quire. A great bunch of people who enjoy West Gallery and folk tunes set to four part harmony and sung usually 'a capella'.

This video is a snap shot of our pre Christmas rehearsals. We generally do about six concerts on the run up to Christmas and also join with Odcombe Carollers for their 150 year old traditional singing around the village.

We are to be found most Tuesday evenings except in school holidays, practising at All Saints Primary School Hall, Montacute in Somerset.

Our current Spring/Summer Programme in under way and we have several concerts to perform before the Summer Holidays when we get a rest. Details on the Stanchester Quire web site linked below.

We are closely associated with the Folk SW, an organisation run by Eddie Upton, our conductor and MD.
